A Review of the Potential Occupational Health and Safety Implications of Nanotechnology
A number of health and materials science specialists have expressed concern that the unique properties which have made nonoparticles attractive for use may also have untoward effects on human and environmental health. The Office of the ASCC commissioned a review of the potential OHS implications of nanotechnology. The review report, which includes a detailed examination of the potential toxicology of nanoparticles, is derived from a detailed review and analysis of worldwide literature and consultation with nanotechnology stakeholders.
