- Organise a safe work week BBQ – or breakfast!
- Hold a workplace seminar or short training sessions on OHS issues that affect your workplace – invite an industry specialist to speak
- Conduct a health program
- Hold a safety morning tea – have a theme
- Review safety procedures
- Spring clean your workplace
Run an OHS activity
- Run a competition – design a safety poster
- Launch an OHS suggestion box
- Set up a health and safety noticeboard
- Give awards to staff working safely
- Establish or promote an OHS committee
- Publish articles in your staff newsletter
Advertise and promote your activity
- Create fliers, newsletter articles, stick up posters, send emails to staff, get management support
- Create a display in the foyer or lunchroom, using OHS posters and publications – change the theme each day
