Comparison of Workers’ Compensation Arrangements in Australia and New Zealand
The ASCC’s Comparison of workers’ compensation arrangements in Australia and New Zealand aims to provide all stakeholders with information to assist them in understanding workers’ compensation arrangements in Australia and New Zealand.
This is the first edition of the Comparison produced by the ASCC. Previously the Victorian WorkCover Authority produced this publication on behalf of the Heads of Workers’ Compensation Authorities. The ASCC would like to acknowledge all the work the Victorian WorkCover Authority has put into the task since 1993 and the representatives from each of the jurisdictions for all the assistance they provided to the ASCC in producing this edition of the Comparison.
All information in this edition of the Comparison is correct as at October 2006. Readers wanting up-to-the-minute information should check with the relevant authority.
